# Getting eRelocator Numbers

Getting eRelocator number for a property involves two steps:

1. Submit the address to the ICC for approval.
2. Once approved, submit the address again to be added to the property.

### Submitting New Addresses

* Login into the ICC website.
* Click on "Start" under New Contract.

* Enter the address as shown below (this example uses the address "535 S Milwaukee Ave, Wheeling."

<figure><img src="/files/49H5Qs6YgMqJzO6C3sBo" alt=""><figcaption><p>Address Entry Screen</p></figcaption></figure>

1. Select the Motor Carrier Number (there is only one selection available).
2. Enter the numeric portion of the address.
3. Select the street direction ("South" in this example). If there is no direction, skip this.
4. Enter the street name.
5. Enter the street type ("Avenue" in this example). If there is no street type, skip this.
6. Enter the City.
7. Select the county.
8. Click "Add this Address to the Contract".

<figure><img src="/files/WBjKvi6YlAhKXyXrIG4j" alt=""><figcaption><p>Review Property Address Screen</p></figcaption></figure>

You will be taken to the Review Property Address screen. Double-check that the address is correct. If there are any errors, click on the "No" button and you will be taken back to the Address Entry Screen.

1. Enter a description of the property, such as "Apartment", "Townhome", "Commercial", etc.
2. Click on the "Yes" button to submit the address.

The address has now been submitted and you will be taken to this screen:<br>

Select "Continue" to return to the Address Entry Screen, which will retain the address you previously entered. This streamlines the process of entering multiple addresses on the same street. Simply modify the address as needed and select "Add this Address to the Contract".

### Entering Approved Addresses

Once an address has been reviewed by the ICC, we should receive an email from them.&#x20;

If an address is rejected, the reason for the rejection will be provided. You may then resubmit it with the required corrections.

If an address is approved, follow these steps to enter it into the system. These steps are nearly identical to those used for submitting the address.

{% hint style="info" %}
We don't always receive an email from the ICC, so it's a good idea to check every so often to see if an address has been processed. You can do this by simply reentering the address exactly like it was submitted. If the address has been approved, it will say that the address is available.
{% endhint %}

Enter the address just as you did when you submitted it. You should be taken to the next screen:<br>

<figure><img src="/files/XNWATkNGkJEQCiWGlPzy" alt=""><figcaption><p>Available Property Address</p></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="warning" %}
If you received an email confirming that your address was accepted but find yourself redirected to the 'Review Property Address' screen upon entry, it's probable there was an error in your second submission. To resolve this, please click "No" to go back to the address entry screen and double-check the details you entered.
{% endhint %}

Click on "Yes" to continue to the next screen:

<figure><img src="/files/QhMEGds9ar8CwsqsJ4r6" alt=""><figcaption><p>Address Added</p></figcaption></figure>

You will be taken back to the address entry screen, where the new address will be shown:

<figure><img src="/files/diM7ps0iTFRpnjQmnYE4" alt=""><figcaption><p>Address Entry with New Address</p></figcaption></figure>

At this point, you can add additional addresses **for the same property** by repeating the steps above.

Once you've entered all the addresses for the property, click on "Go to Property Owner Information".

<figure><img src="/files/3wSDMv1vYH5uI4qhReeI" alt=""><figcaption><p>Property Owner Information</p></figcaption></figure>

Enter the property owner information on this screen. You can get this information from the account in TRIP.

1. Enter the property owner name. This needs to be the name of a person, not the name of a property management company. Select someone who has a phone number in TRIP and is part of the property management company, if applicable.
2. Enter the address of the property owner. This will be the address listed under "Property Management" in TRIP.
3. Enter the property owner city.
4. Select the property owner state.
5. Enter the property owner ZIP code.
6. Enter the phone number of the person you selected above.
7. Select the appropriate location (note that the Rolling Meadows location has our old address, this is fine).
8. Select a contract type: Call or Patrol. For any residential property, **always** select 'Patrol', since there is no way to change it once it's saved and residential properties sometimes start as a call account and then switch to patrol at a later date.
9. Select the appropriate distance. If the property is in an incorporated area, select '10 Air Miles or Less Incorporated area', otherwise select '15 Air Miles or Less Unincorporated Area'. If you're not sure, check the 'Relocator Contract Summary Form' page in the contract.
10. Once you've entered all the information, click on 'Complete this Contract'.

You will then be taken to the Competed page:

{% hint style="warning" %}
KEEP THIS PAGE OPEN. You will use it to more easily enter the addresses in TRIP.
{% endhint %}

Note the number in the address bar of the browser. This is the contract number for the addresses. You can also get the contract number by searching (see below).

### Search Existing Contracts

You can look up existing contracts by clicking on "View" under "Contracts" on the main page.

You will be taken to the search page:<br>

<figure><img src="/files/3JoqZObADc7Aql5PiX7Z" alt=""><figcaption><p>Contract Search Screen</p></figcaption></figure>

1. Select the Motor Carrier Number (there is only one option).
2. Enter the street name (if you want to search for a specific address, you can also enter the numeric address).
3. Enter the city (this is not required, but will help to filter the results).
4. Select the Filter Type (Active, Canceled or All).
5. Click "Next".

The results of your search will be shown:

<figure><img src="/files/sXHpEXN708rLRBHTF2mI" alt=""><figcaption><p>Search Results</p></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="warning" %}
Note that if there is a date in the Canceled column ("Canl'd"), this contract has been canceled and is no longer valid.
{% endhint %}

You can click on a contract number to view the details.
